Create simple commands
Try to create simple commands you will use as a build bricks
for more complex commands.
- CAREFULSTEP
- Careful step to prevent wall crash.
If there is not wall front of Karel execute step
else do nothing.
- DOUBLESTEP
- Two steps
- CAREDOUBLESTEP
- carefull two steps
- TURN
- Turn twice to the oposite direction
- HORSEL, HORSER
- Move robot like chess horse left, right.
- FILL
- Fill fielsd by signs.
Notice there might be signs yet.
- PICKOUT
- Pick all signs.
- FILLTOWALL
- Draw line from signs to the wall.
- CROSS
- Draw a cross.
- CHESSBOARD
- Fill town by signs like as a chessboard.
- LABEL
- If there is not a sign put (or fill) field
else do nothing.
- SIDESTEPL, SIDESTEPR
- Move robot on the left, right field and leave it
in the same direction.
- HOME
- Let robot moves to the initial position -
normally to left bottom corner.
- HOME
- command HOME having walls in maind.
Simple tasks
- Paint square in centre of the town using signs.
- Paint window.
- Sign a net as on tennis court. Keep in mind it is in half of the town.
- Collect all signs in one row / in the town.
- Variate signs placing or collecting.
- Find treasure where some walls are in the town.
Complex tasks
- Build tall building (see picture). Be sure last floor
is full (with ceiling) if the town is greater.
- Build some labyrint and teach Karel to pass through.
- Collect signs and then put them the same way.
- Paint a house
- Find treasure and carry it home. Treasure is field with more then one sign.
There are one signs variously in the town.
- Paint a heart
